The International Broadcasting Convention is a premier annual exhibition for professionals engaged in creation, management and delivery of electronic media and entertainment content. The 2012 conference program is expected to draw 50,000 attendees and involve them in discussions on emerging technologies, various networking opportunities, as well as state of the art exhibition from over 1,300 exhibitors.
NewSat will be attending IBC 2012 for discussions on the Jabiru-1 satellite, which will provide high-powered Ka-band capacity over the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Jabiru-1 will provide “new” capacity to these regions, offering a range of multi-spot, regional and steerable beams, delivering “raw” capacity and flexible payloads.
