NewSat will join the China Satellite Conference 2012

One of the premiere events for the satellite industry in Asia is back. From September 19 to 21, the China Satellite Conference 2012, will see thousands of delegates from the satellite sector converge at the Hotel Nikko New Century in Beijing. The event is one of the biggest platforms for networking and business opportunities with satellite operators, suppliers, hardware manufacturers, customers as well as key leaders from regional and international organizations taking part.

Peter Sim, of NewSat Ltd, will be attending the event to represent Australia’s largest independent satellite communications specialist. The company is currently set to launch Australia’s first commercial satellite, the Jabiru-1, by 2014. Mr Sim will be a part of the China Satellite Conference to also discuss NewSat’s current and future satellite capabilities. IBC 2012 in Amsterdam

The International Broadcasting Convention is a premier annual exhibition for professionals engaged in creation, management and delivery of electronic media and entertainment content. The 2012 conference program is expected to draw 50,000 attendees and involve them in discussions on emerging technologies, various networking opportunities, as well as state of the art exhibition from over 1,300 exhibitors.

ASX Small to Mid Caps Conference – Singapore and Hong Kong

NewSat participated in the ASX Small to Mid Caps conference in Singapore and Hong Kong in May. At the conference, which featured a selection of emerging Australian companies, NewSat’s CEO, Adrian Ballintine, provided an update on the Jabiru Satellite Program, orbital slots and Jabiru-1 – which is six months into the build.

Now in its fifth year, the ASX Conference is an opportunity to hear the latest investment propositions from a selection of emerging Australian market leaders in the Small to Mid Cap segment of the Australian Market. Presentations were made by each company’s CEO or CFO and were supplemented by one-on-one meetings throughout the program. These meetings enabled highly targeted conversations to occur between interested investors and company management.
